We have said already that stamping concrete is a lot more complex than what a lot of people think. If we had to pick sort of an everyday comparison it would have to be to ink stamps that are used on passports or things of that nature. If you have seen a person stamp documents you will realize that getting the perfect stamp with just the right amount of ink in the right spot every single time is very, very difficult! We have to stamp each part of the leveling concrete with the right amount of force at the same height so that the concrete looks even all the way through. Luckily we have a team for that!
What Designs Can I Chose From?
When it comes to concrete stamping there are what you could call typical molds. That already have a design imprinted on them and have been used in multiple products. We have a lot of designs that we have used on numerous occasions we are not going to lie there. That being said, if you are looking to stamp a unique design on your concrete we can get the design made for you.
Adding Shade or Color To The Concrete
Stamping is not just about leaving a lasting mark on the concrete. It can also be used as a way to literally complement the whole look. As we stamp we can also add shades or colors to the original color of the concrete through what is known as a release agent. As we have mentioned there is a lot more that goes into stamping than just applying some pressure on the concrete. For the most part, the process is going to alter the overall coloring of the floors. So, it is a good idea to account for that in the design process.
This is a process that we believe is at times not fully appreciated. As it is able to really change the whole outlook of an entire area just with a couple of stamps. Wall stamps work great for indoor and outdoor areas. They are a particular favorite of many suburban home designers that want to make a concrete wall into a rock wall. That is not the only type of result though that you can hope to achieve by stamping walls. In our eyes, the things that we are able to do through this process are seemingly endless!
Working Directly On Wet Concrete
One of the reasons that some people are a bit afraid of this process is that we have to work directly on wet concrete. Which means that we don’t have a lot of times on our hands and you know ahead of time that you are going to pay for some mistakes very dearly. That is why we recommend that you give your property the proper professional care! We are not just saying this because we are pros and we hope that you hire us. We have seen some failed attempts and they don’t look pretty!
